Centre College offers an intensely personal and deeply engaging experience, highlighted by the nation’s premier study abroad program. Approximately 85 percent study abroad at least once in one of 10 long-term, residential programs or in a variety of shorter programs.
The emphasis—for both faculty and students—is on excellence in the classroom. Collaborative research and internships also help students achieve success. As a result, 97 percent on average are employed or in advanced study within 10 months of graduation.
Legions of loyal alumni keep Centre affordable. Centre has been among the nation’s leaders in alumni participation for the last three decades.
Since 2002, Centre has backed its educational promise with the Centre Commitment, a guarantee that students will 1) study abroad, 2) have an internship or research opportunity, and 3) graduate in four years, or the College will provide up to an additional year of study tuition-free.
