Registration is now open for the 2013 AIKCU Technology Conference. The conference, underwritten by AIKCU’s technology partners, brings together professionals from the fields of information technology, educational technology, and libraries for a day of presentations, roundtables, and networking opportunities.

The 2013 AIKCU Technology Conference will take place at Lindsey Wilson College on Friday, June 21. Registration is required but there is no registration fee for AIKCU members.

We are excited to have as our keynote speaker Dr. Vince Kellen, Senior Vice Provost for Academic Planning, Analytics & Technologies at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Kellen brings a rare combination of business, academic and IT architecture experience to his role, with a focus on transformational leadership within IT. Dr. Kellen is a Senior Consultant and Business Technology Council member with the leading IT industry think-tank, Cutter Consortium, where he writes on business and IT strategy. Vince also speaks nationally and international on IT strategy topics. Vince will also be one of the keynote speakers at the upcoming Kentucky Innovations Conference. Dr. Kellen’s scope of experience and knowledge will be relevant to all of our attendees.

This year’s conference has thirty concurrent sessions with full tracks for information technology, library, and instructional technology. Topics are cutting edge running from the flipped classroom to cloud technologies to library innovations. It is also a great opportunity to network with your peers. And best of all it is free thanks to our sponsors. Please share this info with faculty and staff and encourage attendance from your campus for this event.

Registration, breaks and lunch will be in the Roberta D. Crammer Dining and Conference Center. Further information will follow as to the location and room numbers for the conference sessions and for parking. All buildings are accessible but if you have accessibility needs please let contact Marsha Clark so we can make sure you have the necessary information.
