We serve as the voice of Kentucky's independent colleges and universities, advocating for policies that recognize the sector's critical role and help students access and afford a distinctive,

high-quality education.

CONNECT

We provide opportunities for member affiliate groups to meet in person

and online to share experiences and

best practices with colleagues from other institutions.

COLLABORATE

We coordinate cost-saving agreements with businesses and vendors to save our members time and money on a wide range of goods, services, and
insurance products.

Total fall enrollment grew by 8.5% at AIKCU’s 18 member campuses, with 4,640 more students enrolling than in Fall 2022.

Representatives from seven member colleges and universities of the Association of Independent Kentucky Colleges and Universities met with Kentucky’s congressional delegation during NAICU’s Annual Meeting & Advocacy Day Feb. 4-7 in Washington, D.C.

Presidents and officials from Kentucky’s private colleges and universities gathered Dec. 13 at Midway University for a look at how 2024 state and federal legislation will affect higher education. This is the first legislative preview of its kind hosted by AIKCU.

Midway University President and AIKCU Board Chair John P. Marsden, Campbellsville University President Joseph Hopkins, and AIKCU President Mason Dyer represented Kentucky’s private colleges at the 2023 Fall Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C.
