AIKCU and its business partner, Siemens Building Technologies, are pleased to announce a training opportunity for campus facility management leadership personnel. The half day Energy Savings Contracting Workshop will be held at Eastern Kentucky University, where Siemens will showcase its campus wide energy savings performance contracting project. There is no cost for AIKCU members to participate and lunch will be provided.

The workshop will allow AIKCU Business Officers and Facilities Directors to learn more about energy savings performance contracting and energy conservation/sustainability initiatives for campus facilities.

Speakers will include:

• Dr. Doug Whitlock – President, Eastern Kentucky University
• James Street –  Assoc. VP, Capital Planning & Facilities Mgmt., Eastern Kentucky University
• Rich Middleton - Director of Facilities Services, Eastern Kentucky University
• Michael Azzara, Energy & Environmental Solutions, Siemens
• Rob Wright, P.E., Energy & Environmental Solutions, Siemens

The day will conclude with a walking tour of Eastern Kentucky University’s newly installed energy efficiency technologies.
