St. Catharine announces “Stimulus Semester”: free spring semester tuition for recently unemployed
January 9th, 2009Springfield, KY - St. Catharine College in Springfield announced this week that it will offer free tuition this spring semester for individuals who have recently lost jobs due to the economic crisis.
The St. Catharine College “Stimulus Semester” is open to any person not currently enrolled at the college who has lost full-time employment within the last 90 days. Enrollees under this plan can take up to 9 hours tuition free during the Spring 2009 semester. Students will only be responsible for a $25 admissions fee, textbooks, and any course or lab fees.

Enrollees under this offer must certify that they are not in any federal or institution financial aid default from any other school or currently enrolled as active students in any other college or university. Students may enroll in any class regularly offered during the term for which they are qualified, with the exclusion of health sciences classes, on a space available basis in any given section.
