OSHA 10-Hour Training for AIKCU Members: March 6-7

ksba.gifAIKCU is pleased to once again offer an exclusive OSHA 10-Hour Training for AIKCU member campuses, thanks to our partnership with the Kentucky School Boards Association. The training will take place March 6 and 7 at the Kentucky Broadcaster’s Association Building (next to AIKCU). The cost of the training, including lunch and materials, is only $25 for AIKCU members.

The OSHA 10-hour training focuses on occupational, safety and health standards
and how these standards apply to educational institutions. Required federal and state standards will be covered.

The training will focus on developing an emergency action plan, hazardous communications, electrical safety, fire protection and other OSHA-required training topics. This training will assist personnel in providing a safe environment.

The following topics will be covered during the two-day event:

  • Emergency Action Plan
  • Hazardous Communications (Right-to-Know)
  • Hazardous Materials
  • Lockout/Tagout
  • Personal Protective Equipment
  • Bloodborne Pathogens

  • Safety Program Development
